The new “Future Center for German Unity and European Transformation gGmbH” will be responsible for the development and subsequent operation of the center as a non-profit organization.

The establishment of the company is a clear signal: The Future Center is taking shape and will become a permanent institution in the cultural landscape of Central Germany.

The sponsoring company will now create the organizational and content-related foundations for the center. This includes developing a detailed concept, establishing the personnel structure, and preparing for future operations.

Important groundwork will be laid in the coming months: offices will be occupied in Halle, the team will be built up, and the communicative approach will be developed. By early 2025, new employees should be hired to support the establishment of the company and its committees, so that from 2025 onwards, the Future Center can also achieve content-related visibility.

In parallel, the realization competition for the new building at Riebeckplatz continues to progress. As a city in the heart of reunified Germany, Halle embodies the changes of recent decades like few other places.
